Kosaka Cocona is an animated life-sized female figurine by Speecys.
The figurine features remote motor technology for slim, silent and smooth operating robots. Combined with 37 moveable joints, this technology allows Kosaka Cocona to dance and to make "emotional gestures". Though, it is not an autonomous robot as she needs to be attached to a base ("Karakuri Unit").
Kosaka Cocona can be controlled remotely through a PC or tablet with an Internet connection. Also, she supports the "MikuMiku Dance" software.
The figurine was presented at Robodex robot development and application expo at Tokyo Big Sight (January 16-18, 2019).
