Weekly summary 39/2019

Hi,

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 39th week of 2019, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) New arrivals.

This week, five new heads were introduced:

• HR Doll head no. 2 (HR no. 02) - TPE
• HR Doll head no. 8 (HR no. 08) - TPE
• HR Doll head no. 10 (HR no. 10) - TPE
• HR Doll head no. 11 (HR no. 11) - TPE
• HR Doll head no. 12 (HR no. 12) - TPE

Also, three new body styles and one lower body torso were released:

• New arrivals: Climax Doll R3 lower body torso - TPE / ~38 kg
• New arrivals: HR Doll HR-158/A body style - TPE / height ~158 cm / weight ~39 kg
• New arrivals: HR Doll HR-153/F body style - TPE / height ~153 cm / weight ~37 kg
• New arrivals: HR Doll HR-140 body style - TPE / height ~140 cm / weight ~25 kg

3) Factory photos and shipped dolls.

This week, we had two completed dolls:

• This Climax Doll CLM-72 body style with ›Maria‹ head travels to Germany
• This Piper Doll Piper Fantasy PI-150/B aka ›Akira‹ travels to Denmark

4) Overview posts.

• All Sino-doll heads as of 09/2019.

5) Doll business news.

Kevin from Hitdoll/Ildoll asked me to make a note that their parent company has changed again. The successor company for Guangzhou Xinzhongyi Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (GXET) is Chuanyin Intelligence Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. (CIT). As far as I understand it, this does not effect the product line or pending orders. It seems to be merely an in internal restructuring for legal reasons.

Also, the Z-Onedoll brand will retire in February 2020.

6) Useless numbers.

When checking our logfiles, I noticed that the three Dollstudio sites have now exceeded 20,000 users. That's a quite impressive user base.

But why is it useless number? You might make a guess how many of those are active users or even customers… is it rather 10%, 5%, or 1%?

7) Chinese holiday schedule.

September 30th until October 3rd 2019 are National Day holidays in China and most businesses are closed for four days, so all orders which are not yet completed or have not departed from China will be delayed for something between four days and about a week.

New orders will start processing after October 4th. In some cases, the manufacturing queue is already full until end of October.
