this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 1st week of 2020, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) New arrivals.

This week, three new heads were introduced:

• Jarliet ›Maggie‹ head - TPE
• SE Doll ›Abigail‹ head - silicone
• SE Doll ›Della‹ head - TPE

Also, one new body style was released:

• New arrivals: Jarliet JA-168/A body style - TPE / height ~168 cm / weight ~29 kg

These stats reflect what our (potential) customers are interested in. The stats are broken down by the geographical distribution area, so this might give some insight about varying regional tastes or preferences.

5) Chinese New Year Holidays.

This year, Chinese New Year Holidays follow quickly to Christmas and the Gregorian calendar's New Year.

Some order deadlines have already passed (e.g. Sino-doll, Dec 16th), the latest order deadlines are about two weeks into the new year 2020 (e.g. Irontech, Jan 14th). Orders placed after the respective deadlines will be produced in February 2020. Please note that every factory has individual deadlines.

Most factories will be closed during Chinese New Year Holidays from around January 19th until February 2nd, 2020.

The Lunar New Year begins on Saturday, January 25th 2020. Chinese New Year is a public (national) holiday.

The full upcoming holiday schedule is like so:

• Little Year (小年, xiǎo nián): January 17th – 24th (8 days)
• Spring Festival (春节, chūn jié): January 25th – February 4th (11 days)
• Lantern Festival (元宵节, yuán xiāo jié): February 5th – 8th (4 days)

The upcoming year will be the year of the rat. It will end on February 11th, 2021.

This new Unboxing review has started but is currently paused:

• Unboxing Sino-doll SI-162/D body style with S30 ›Linyin‹ and S31 ›Chris‹ heads
