Enhanced M16 head connector for Happy Doll
Hi,
recent Happy Doll fabric dolls come with a M16 head connector. Actually it is some kind of adapter which bridges from the neck stub to a stand M16 thread.
The standard adapter looks like so:
Approximate weight is about 237 g.
Approximate weight of a standard fabric Happy Doll head like Nori with the default M16 head connector is about 705 g.
The Dollworks Adapter System makes an alernative head connector available. It is 3D printed in nylon and includes the M16 thread:
This alternative M16 connector is much more lightweight:
Approximate weight of the alternative M16 head connector is about 29 g.
That's how it looks with a off-the-shelf Nori head from Happy Doll:
With both connector types, a wide range of life-life TPE and silicone heads can be attached to a Happy Doll body.
The alternative M16 connector is available through Dollstudio. There is also an experimental variant to retrofit older Happy Dolls with the longer neck stub.
