Weekly summary 51/2020

Hi,

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 51st week of 2020, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) Coronavirus situation.

a) The pandemic situation in general. More censorship and irrational actions. By now, more than 26 studies have been published which provide evidence for the efficacy of Ivermectin. It works as pre-exposure prophylaxis, post exposure prophylaxis, and when given to both early and late hospitalized patients. It even has shown a positive effect for "long haul" Covid-19 sufferers. Dr. Chris Martenson introduced the research and explained the science, and Youtube took the video down within hours. Chris reported about Youtube taking the video down, and Youtube censored this video as well.

There are lots of other indications that massive attempts are happening, targeted at manipulating the public opinion. As well in mass media as in major social networks, the freedom of speech has been severely restricted. The only permitted narrative is that the pandemic is bad and keeps getting worse. Contradicting evidence is being muted and hushed up. If scientific research can not be discussed in public anymore, we got a much bigger issue than some virus. Why are solutions to treat Covid-19 infections being suppressed? Why isn't there a broad exploration about the findings as documented in the FLCCC Alliance's research?

Dr. Chris Martenson's video is now hosted on on Vimeo and on Chris' website. Dr John Camplell looked at the Ivermectin research as well and highly recommended to take a look at the findings: Ivermectin and COVID 19. The scientific research on Ivermectin and working Covid-19 prophylaxis can be found here:

Summary of the findings:

  • Ivermectin is effective for COVID-19. 100% of studies report positive effects. The probability that an ineffective treatment generated results as positive as the 26 studies to date is estimated to be 1 in 67 million (p = 0.000000015).
  • Early treatment is most successful, with an estimated reduction of 87% in the effect measured using a random effects meta-analysis, RR 0.13 [0.04-0.40].
  • 100% of the 10 Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) report positive effects, with an estimated reduction of 74% in the effect measured using a random effects meta-analysis, RR 0.26 [0.12-0.56].

There is no need to wait for an unproven vaccination which might or might not more damage than good. Covid-19 can be treated right now. Plus, everybody can get his immune system up to speed and significantly reduce the risk of getting the disease. Form your own opinion. Here are the ressources as provided by the FLCCC Alliance (= Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance):

b) Impact on the doll business. As expected, the 2nd wave of tightened lockdowns resulted in a further reduction of air freight capacities. Freight costs are stuck at a peak. That means that customers will have to wait longer for their dolls and prices will go up to cover transportation costs. For some dolls, freight costs exceed product costs, again, as they did in last spring during the first wave of lockdowns. In combination with the regular increased amount of shipments before Christmas, a lot of packages will be delayed. Also, the unfavorable exchange rate of RMB to USD results in further price increases (which already have been announced by multiple major doll makers from China).

Regarding the shipping of small packages, for example for Indigo's care & repair products or the Dollworks line of adpaters, the most absurd conditions apply. For shipments to North America, sea freight is the default method, again, as is being chosen by the German post. Traveling time for a 500 grams package is 4 weeks and above, and tracking stops after the export in Frankfurt. The carriers in the U.S. and Canada do not proceed with the tracking code. An alternative is shipping with standard DHL, freight costs for the smallest package available: 53,99 Euros. No tracking for destinations in North America. However, shipping within the EU is still working with the usual Corona limiatations (e.g. delivery of registered mail without signature).
