Weekly summary 26/2019

Hi,

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 26th week of 2019, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) New arrivals.

This week, five new heads were introduced:

• Sino-doll S18 head aka ›Victoria‹ - silicone
• Sino-doll S21 head aka ›Yuwen‹ - silicone
• Sino-doll S23 head aka ›Yuyin‹ (CE, closed eyes) - silicone
• Gynoid Tech ›Jì xiāng‹ head (纪香) - silicone
• Junying/Aiersha Ka 11 head (卡11) - TPE

(The Gynoid head is from the backlog, it is actually available since about 03/2019).

Also, five new body styles were released:

• Gynoid Tech GT-165/86 (86×61×90 BWH) – silicone / ~165 cm / ~34 kg
• Gynoid Tech GT-160/85 (85×60×90 BWH) – silicone / ~160 cm / ~28 kg
• Gynoid Tech GT-160/88 (88×60×91 BWH) – silicone / ~160 cm / ~28 kg
• New arrivals: Irontech IT-140/M body style - TPE / ~140 cm / ~38 kg
• New arrivals: Sino-doll SI-155 body style / silicone / 155cm / 32 kg ("155cm (5ft10') Lifelike Size Bbw Anime Sex Doll") - still no official announcement

(The three Gynoid body styles are from the backlog, they are actually available since about 12/2018 respectively 03/2019).

2) Upcoming dolls.

Hitdoll/Ildoll is working on a new medium-sized doll with a body height of about 151 cm. This doll is supposed to be a challenger for DS and GT. Though, no further details have been disclosed so far.

3) Latest blog posts.

Our daily blog posts feature mostly new photo sets, showcasing dolls and heads in various configurations.

4) Factory photos and shipped dolls.

This week, we had two completed dolls:

• This Piper Doll Piper Fantasy PI-150/K aka ›Jessica‹ travels to Denmark
• This Piper Doll Piper Fantasy PI-130 aka ›Phoebe‹ travels to the Netherlands

5) Current & upcoming Unboxing Reviews.

The Unboxing review Sino-doll SI-152/D with S10 head aka ›Amanda‹ has been completed up to the preliminary conclusion. I will add additional observations from time to time and revisit the conclusions in a couple of weeks.

The Unboxing review Gynoid Tech Model 7 aka ›Jì xiāng‹ (纪香) is now in the works. The doll arrived on Tuesday, and I have mixed feelings about this doll. Some parts are exquisite beyond anything I have seen before, but others are less than satisfactory. At this point I'd say that this is a doll primarily for specialists and experienced doll owners.

6) Personalia.

Effective June 22, 2019, David Lee has left Guangdong Sino Environment Technology Co., Ltd..

With David leaving, the brands Sino-doll and Z-Onedoll loose a respected and trusted factory representant.

Letting David go is a loss as well for Sino-doll as for the Chinese doll industry.

7) Other Industry News.

Doll Sweet continues to move the factory out of Dalian. This results in delays for production and shipping of about two weeks.

I hope the factory move will be smooth!

Also, the production of the EX-lite hasn't resumed yet.

On another note just a small hint: The disruptions in the Chinese silicone doll industry haven't stopped yet. After Sino-doll, Hitdoll/Ildoll and Gynoid Tech, there is already yet another emerging manufacturer chomping at the bit.
