Weekly summary 21/2019

Hi,

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 21th week of 2019, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) New arrivals.

This week, three new heads were introduced:

• Jinsan no. 311 head aka ›Tisha‹ (Dollsfrance) - TPE
• Jinsan no. 195 head (WM Dolls) - TPE
• Junying/Aiersha Ka 4 head (JY Doll) - TPE

Also, one new body styles was released:

• WM Dolls WM-150/M - TPE / ~150 cm / ~43 kg

The WM Dolls WM-150/M with supposedly M cup breasts creates a little consistency issue to denominate male dolls. So far we have used an appended "/M" label for male dolls which now becomes ambiguous. So I am open to suggestions how to distinguish between female and male dolls in the age of M cup dolls.

2) Upcoming dolls.

• Sino-doll's SI-149 body style (silicone) still has not yet been officially announced, but the first preview pics from Shanghai Expo can be viewed here.
• Irontech is working on a new medium-sized doll. The expected body height will be around 140 cm, and she will have a body shape with big breasts and a thin waist. At the moment, the sculpt receives the finishing touches, but the final mold has not been created yet. This doll will become available in about 4-6 weeks.

3) Latest blog posts.

5) Ready to ship - dolls from stock.

This abandoned doll is still available from stock & ready to ship on the next working day:

• WM Doll WM-161 with 2 heads (Jinsan heads no. 55 and no. 108), tanned skin color, standing foot option

She is a factory-fresh doll with no previous owner; she is a weight-reduced model and has not flaws. I posted a quick Unboxing review with this doll so you can get a better idea if you are interested. Further details and pricing are in the For Sale thread.

6) Upcoming Unboxing Reviews.

There are two Unboxing reviews in preparation.

• Gynoid Tech. "纪香-model7" (Ji Xiang)
• Sino-doll SI-152/D with A10 head (Amanda)

Both reviews have already started with topics like configuration decisions and purchasing procedure. Sino-dolls SI-152/D has been completed in the factory last week and is already on her way to Berlin; she is expected to arrive during 22nd or 23rd calendar week.

7) Changes at Doll Sweet respectively EX Doll.

Last week I mentioned that there are massive ongoing changes at Doll Sweet respectively EX Doll. In the meantime some fragmentary information has been officially announced, so I think I can at least mention this:

EX Doll (China) has confirmed that at least parts of the EX Doll factory are being relocated:

"Due to the need to expand production scale, the exdoll factory began to relocate and the relocation was completed on May 15. It is expected to resume production and delivery before May 25. The order business will not be affected during the relocation period, you can place an order normally. The delivery business stopped during the relocation period, please understand." Also, the EX-lite is being discontinued or at least temporarily suspended. This information comes from a memo from May 24th, 2019, directed at the DS resellers, titled with the subject "EX-Lite dolls are discontinued":

Because our factory is move to other city, some discontinued.
the EX-Lite PU foam doll will stop producing.
In next half of year, we can’t make more Lite dolls.

8 ) Indigo's Care & Repair Products.

Effective immediately, the current Hitdoll/Ildoll TPE blend is officially supported by Indigo's Care & Repair products.

The following products have been successfully tested for compatibility by Indigo:

• Indigo Individual TPE Repair Kit ›comfort‹ - all four skin colors
• Indigo Individual Cold-welding adhesive (CWA)
• Indigo Individual Stain Remover

Results of an in-depth analysis of the TPE composition are expected in about 3-4 weeks. Some recommendation for mineral oil care procedures at a later time.

Other results from the preliminary material tests:

1. The current Hitdoll/Ildoll TPE blend has an average resistence against alcoholes and disinfectants. That means that a very infrequent application should be OK. However, frequent and/or repeated application can result in dryness, porosity and micro tears. So generally the recommendation is to avoid the application of alcoholes and disinfectants an Hitdoll/Ildoll TPE.
2. Also, there is an unwelcome chemical interaction between Hitdoll/Ildoll TPE and Hitdoll/Ildoll silicone. So the recommendation is not to mix heads/bodies with Hitdoll/Ildoll TPE and Hitdoll/Ildoll silicone.

Both results are to be expected and apply similarily to most other current TPE blends.
