Weekly summary 19/2019

Hi,

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 19th week of 2019, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) New arrivals.

This week, four new heads were introduced:

• Sino-doll S15 head aka ›Early Summer‹
• Jarliet ›Kumiko‹ head (くみこ / 久美子)
• Aiersha/Junying no. 175/2019 head
• Aiersha/Junying Ka 3 head (卡3)

Also, a three new torsos were released:

• Doll Forever Legs 101 - lower body torso
• Irontech Legs - lower body torso
• Climax Doll Torso L

As well Doll Forever's Legs 101 as Irontech's Legs are lower body torsos respecively "half torsos" with legs, but without breasts, a head or arms.

Climax Doll's Torso L is a 'classical' upper body torso with breasts, head and arms.

No new body styles were introduced. However, Sino-doll's SI-149 body style (silicone) already has first preview pics from Shanghai Expo.

3) Factory photos and shipped dolls.

This week, we had three (two) completed dolls:

• This Piper Doll Piper Fantasy PI-150/K aka ›Jessica‹ travels to Germany
• This Piper Doll Piper Fantasy PI-150/B aka ›Akira‹ travels to Germany
• This Doll House 168 DH-158 body style with ›Ai‹ head travels to California

The last one - the DH-158 from Doll House 168 - actually is a replacement as the original doll dissapeared somewhere in Washington.

4) Ready to ship - dolls from stock.

We have taken over an abandoned doll which was already on her way to Europe:

• WM Doll WM-161 with 2 heads (Jinsan heads no. 55 and no. 108), tanned skin color, standing foot option

This beautiful two-headed girl has arrived and is now looking for a new home.
She is a factory-fresh doll with no previous owner, and she is ready to ship on the next working day.

I posted a quick Unboxing review with this doll, focusing on what has changed at Jinsan since the last unboxings from a while ago.

Also, Eric from YL will soon add another abandoned doll, a YL-168/B.

5) Upcoming Unboxing Reviews.

There are two Unboxing reviews in preparation.

• Unboxing Gynoid Tech. "纪香-model7" (Ji Xiang)
• Unboxing Sino-doll SI-152 with A10 head (Amanda)

6) Other topics and business trends.

End of April was the China Adult-Care Expo 2019 in Shanghai. Some of the new arrivals introduced above have been shown at this trade fair.

At least one trend showed up in Shanghai, that's silicone heads. Or to be more precise, to combine silicone heads with TPE bodies. Mate-Doll pioneered this approach already a couple of months ago, and Hitdoll/Ildoll have been cross-producing whole dolls in either TPE or silicone for a while. In Shanghai two more brands joined in this trend: As well WM Dolls as JY Doll showed silicone heads on TPE bodies. The WM Dolls silicone head additionally showed implanted hair; that's not a real novelty as Z-Onedoll and Sino-doll have this expensive feature for months respectively years, but the move of two major TPE brands towards silicone, that's quite a move.

So things have started to move after a while of stagnation.
All I can say at the moment is that things will keep moving in the next months, especially in the silicone segment.

And last but not least there is yet another announcement to make: Doll Sweet is moving the factory to another city. I am not allowed to tell more about this yet, but there will be changes for this manufacturer with his longstanding tradition, too.
