Unboxing Sino-doll SI-152/D with S10 head aka ›Amanda‹

Hi,

in this thread I will post an Unboxing review of Sino-doll SI-152 body style with S10 head aka ›Amanda‹. The SI-152 is a life-sized silicone love doll with a specified body height of 152 cm and a body weight of 28 kg.

This will be the follow-up review for Unboxing Sino-doll SI-172/H body style & S4 head from November 2018. In the past months I have been in continuous contact with David Lee from Sino, and he kept me well updated about all the recent developments.

Configuration:

  • S152cm body
  • skin color tan
  • vagina built-in/fixed
  • ultra-soft vagina option
  • skeleton with standing and shrugging
  • bikini lines
  • finger/toe nails #2 or #6 (matching lip color)
  • nipple color #2 or #3
  • areola size #2 (medium)
  • no pubic hair
  • no tattoos
  • S10 head aka ›Amanda‹
  • eye color #1 or #6
  • with eye mechanism
  • wig like on promo photo or otherwise #8
  • lip color like on promo photo

In this particular case I decided to order a different doll as replacement so I could take a look at a more popular body style and focus on the unique strenghts of Sino-doll.

Here is a comparison of the customizations I ordered:

All options that are identical should be directly comparable and show the development from the past half year.

The order of the review sample was placed in the beginning of May.

Re: Unboxing Sino-doll SI-152 with A10 head aka ›Amanda‹

Hi,

today I got factory photos from Sino:

She looks sweet. I'm just not sure if the bikini lines look right with these sharp edges. Maybe they would look more real if they were a little bit blurred?

Creating this doll took less than two weeks from ordering until completion (May 3rd until May 14th).

Re: Unboxing Sino-doll SI-152 with A10 head aka ›Amanda‹

Hi,

Amanda arrived today in Berlin. As it is to be expected with an experienced manufacturer like Sino-doll, the package was unharmed.

From placing the order til delivery it took roughly a month. That is really fast, considering that shipping alone took about two weeks.

This Unboxing review will cover the following topics, not necessarily in this order:

  • Shipping & Packaging,
  • Padding & Wrapping,
  • Configuration,
  • Documentation & usage instructions,
  • Accessories and Scope of supply,
  • Head(s),
  • Neck connector and skeleton,
  • Silicone blend, skin surface and skin tone,
  • Body shape and lady parts.
  • Head-to-body proportions.
  • Body cavities,
  • Hybrid doll potential,
  • Comparison with the SI-172/H from November 2018.
  • Comparison with the Z-Onedoll ZO-160/B from September 2016.

The whole review will span across several days.

For comparison, it might make sense to take a look at some older Unboxing reviews:

  • Obviously, the Sino-doll SI-172/H body style & S4 head Unboxing from 11/2018
  • the Z-Onedoll ZO-160/B Unboxing from September 2016, and
  • the Z-Onedoll ZO-160/B Unboxing update from October 2016.

Sino-doll is not the same as Z-Onedoll, but there is an obvious heriatage, so I will take a closer look into the things which have (or have not) changed.

I am emphasizing the look back how it was three years ago because there is a noticable development as soon as you start to make direct comparisons.

To anticipate it: Chinese silicone doll makers have started to dictate a breathtaking tempo for development, totally unknown in unhurried 'old' doll world in Western countries where stagnation for years was normality.
And: The progress demonstrated by Chinese silicone doll makers has been massive in the past months. Things we could only wish for suddenly have become available.
On the other hand, not all of these developments move in the direction we would expect or hope for. Many Chinese doll makers are now pretty self-confident, and they are starting to do things the way they consider right.

Re: Unboxing Sino-doll SI-152 with A10 head aka ›Amanda‹

1) Shipping & Packaging.

Once again, the doll traveled with UPS. As already mentioned above, her traveling time was about two weeks from departure from China til delivery at my doorsteps. There were no delays and no customs trouble, everything went as smooth as it should.

The packaging Sino-doll uses by default is on the outside identical with what we are used to from Z-Onedoll or TPE dolls. It's a neutral cardboard box. As usual for a cardboard box from far away, the box will come with some scratches and dents. And of course the UPS driver delivered the box with the short side up. No, the do not read what is written on the box. In this case:

In the past, things like this often resulted in the neck poking through the cardboard, getting the neck distorted or having the soles of the feet injured. No shipping company accepts this kind of damage as a insured shipping damage. The rule of thumb is: If goods are damaged during shipping, packaging and/or padding wasn't sufficient. Everybody involved with international shipping has to deal with this, and we can not influence how underpaid courier drivers deliver the packages. Some Chinese manufacturers keep ignoring this reality, others try to solve the packaging/padding issue. Sino-doll decided to create an almost bullet-proof padding.

Re: Unboxing Sino-doll SI-152 with A10 head aka ›Amanda‹

2) Padding & Wrapping.

Sino-doll does care about packaging and padding. Even in their Z-Onedoll incarnation, they kept refactoring and enhancing their packaging for years. And in the Sino-doll incarnation, the padding was improved once more.

That's how the opened box looks like. It's a foam casing on top of the doll. On top of the foam padding are several bags with the wig(s), accessories, and the random factory outfit:

Upper part of the padding:

Another foam casing is below the doll:

Both parts are roughly shaped like the doll's body. With this padding, the doll has almost zero chance of moving inside the box. Also it provides a rather strong protection against pokes from the outside and environmental influences like rain or dirt. The padding of the SI-152/D was identical with the padding of the SI-172/H – just with the little difference that the padding is really shaped like the dolls body and matches the body height.

The padding does not look particularily noble, but it is effective. I think it's among the best padding methods I have seen from Chinese manufacturers (yet). The little downside is that you neither get a sleeping bag nor a soft plush blanket. But the chances increase massively that you get a doll without dents or scratches – unless some physical customs inspection messes everything up.

After removing the foam cover top, you get the first view of your new roommate:

The remaining packaging is identical to what we are used from other Chinese dolls. The doll's body is wrapped in a huge plastic bag.

the feet are extra packaged:

Also, hands and lower arms are extra packaged:

The head rests below the dolls legs. It's also extra packaged:

So far, everything is done thoughtful and with care.

In the pretty important discipline of packaging and padding, Sino-doll fully scores once again. There is simply nothing to complain.

What Sino-doll accomplished is a fully functional and pragmatic but still affordable solution to the long-standing issue of careless shipping carriers.

Since packaging and padding was consistent in both shipments with a time interval of over six months, it's to be expected that solved the issue of shipping damaged permanently. That's something!

3) Manual / Documentation / Instructions.

Unchanged since the SI-172 Znboxing and even since the Z-Onedoll area.

The doll comes without any instructions and without a visible serial number.

Re: Unboxing Sino-doll SI-152 with A10 head aka ›Amanda‹

4) First impressions.

Let's move quickly to the first impressions after carefully unwrapping her.

First thing I noticed: There is almost no chemical smell. Actually there is so little smell that it's hard to notice the presence of this doll olfactorily. That's nice for everybody – and a godsend for all those who are turned off by the strong smell of factory-fresh TPE dolls!

Second thing I noticed: The skin tone is beautiful. The pigmentation appears natural and homogenous. This skin tone composition is simply good; it's warm and does not have the pinkish-red touch many tanned skin colors on TPE dolls have. And it looks good under different lightning conditions.

Third thing I noticed: There is not much oil leakage. No comparison with current TPE dolls. That's very nice!

A first glance at the breasts with bikini lines:

The bikini lines are obviously painted with a brush and look like painted unhomogenously with a brush. It looks like sloppy work.

The tan lines are a pretty rare customization option. There are very few other manufacturers who offer this. Also, Sino-doll charges pretty reasonable money for the tan lines. Considering this, it's nice to have this option available.

However, the way it is applied in this case, it does not look very consistent on this doll. On one breast there are hasty brush strokes still visible, and the edges are very sharp. It looks rather as if she was wearing a white bikini than a tan line. And like on the SI-172, the bikini lines cover only the front side of the doll. On her back there are no bikini lines.

The way the bikini lines are applied is less than perfect on this doll. It looked better on the SI-172 where it was rather an enhancement. So for this customization option you should keep in mind that your doll will become an unique specimen. The bikini lines might look a bit different on every doll.

Lady parts, also with bikini lines:

Again, something does not look right with these tan lines, the combination of the tanned skin, vulva pigmentation and bikini lines. Though, in this area, no brush strokes are visible.

My suggestions for the bikini lines would be:

  • Obviously, bikini lines not only on the front side. If the bikini lines end on the shoulder seamline, it ruins the illusion quite a bit.
  • Make it a customizable option with configurable strength, from "intense" bikini lines (very white, like on this doll) to "only hinted" bikini lines.
  • Try to blur the edges.
  • Avoid visible brush strokes, e.g. by using an airbrush.

The way it looks on this doll, it is a customization option I would only recommend with some reservations – on on half of the front side it's kind of an enhancement, on the other side it simply does not look good.

Since the bikini lines are an optional customization, simply don't choose it if you don't like it. No harm done.
It's similar with tattoos. Sino-doll offers the option to add an tattoo. If you do not like tattoos, just ignore this customization option.

The way the lady parts are shaped and pigmented is one of Sino-doll's strenghts. The pigmentation is realistic and appears to be permanent.

Lady parts with legs closed:

Lady parts with legs opened:

The placement of vagina and anus is anatomically quite correct. Again, no comparison to the majority of TPE dolls where the anus opening is placed about where the vagina is supposed to be. Realism has many facets, from pigmentation over haptics to placement. In most of these areas Sino-doll has got it right.

In the vulva area a skin texture is visible. That's nice, so we have body parts with textured skin – yet another feature limited to upper medium range to high end dolls so far.

The skin texture exists in other areas of the body as well. This doll has textured skin by default.

The SI-152 has visible seamlines, like many other silicone dolls, but they look much less intrusive than they were on the SI-172. Unless you are very picky about seamlines, I think those on the SI-152 are quite acceptable.

The unfavourable bikini lines option covers up a bit how Sino-doll applies the body makeup. It looks good or even better than good. The nipple and areolae colors appear natural and organic. If you would show me a snapshot like this, I'd not bet my hand that the pictures does not show an organic woman. Since a lot of you are asking for visual realism – I think Sino-doll delivers, as far as body makeup is concerned.

You might want to compare the pictures above with the first impressions of the Z-Onedoll ZO-160/B from two years ago. There are lightyears between these two dolls.

Another issue with the ZO from two years ago was that the body makeup was not even semi-permanent. I could be washed off with a wet cloth and some soap. ZO has enhanced this over the past months, and on the SI-152/D, the body makeup appears almost like intrinsic pigments. It can not be simply rubbed off. I did not try Acetone, but it survives a wet cloth and soap, and that's what matters.

If you are used to TPE dolls, you will be also used to semi-permanent body makeup which fades over time or rubs off when cleaning the doll. Typically, body makeup on a TPE doll holds for about six months, then it needs to be refreshed respectively re-applied. The way the body makeup is applied on the Sino-doll, I don't think anything will fade or rub off anytime soon.

The quality of the body makeup is consistent with the SI-172/H from half a year ago so I think the longevity of the permanent body makeup is nothing you need to worry about with a Sino-doll.

5) Neck connector.

The neck connector has changed again. On the SI-172/H it already wasn't an M16 thread anymore. But this first variant was quite notchy, so there was some room for improvement.

The SI-152/D has a new neck connector which is much better.

To protect it during shipping, Sino-doll covers it with a little foam padding:

This is how the new connector looks like – body part:

The placement seems to be slighty off center:

That's the other side of the connector – head part:

No idea what happened on the bottom; one screw is missing and there is a hole in the core:

Probably someone forgot the 4th screw, or it fell out because of the hole below. I will check this out later.

It's an imperfection, but as far as I can tell it does not affect functionality.

The new neck connector works quite well. Put the head onto the neck connector on the doll body's neck and push it a bit down – done. It just works.

The only downside is that the head sits really tight on the neck connector. It's not exactly easy to remove the head. On the other hand, there is basically zero risk that the head will ever fall off by itself Wink

The design is interesting; it has a couple of inspirations from Doll Sweet's neck connector. Not sure why there is a thread inside; DS used a similar thread to attach the hanging mechanism for upright posing, but the Sino-doll heads do not have a hole.

Compared with the Doll Sweet neck connector, the Sino-doll variant is thicker and more massive; so these both variants can not be swapped without modifications.

Anyway, overall the connector is good. It appears solid and works as it should be. No issues encountered as with the old connector on the SI-172/H.

Problem solved, excellent!

Re: Unboxing Sino-doll SI-152 with A10 head aka ›Amanda‹

6) Head.

The S10 head aka ›Amanda‹ has a beautiful sculpt. It's a friendly face and it's a pleasure to look at this face.

Head without a wig:

You might notice an odd 'reflection' in the pupil of the left eye. I need to inspect this closer, but it's no reflection. I think it's either a scratch or glue residue. I hope it can be removed.

Head with a wig:

Regular life-sized wigs are a little bit too big for this tiny head. To make the wig fit, you need to tighten the strap on the back of the wig.

Other than that, I'd say it's a most appealing face. It's enjoyable to look at this girl!

Detail of the lips:

Yes, Amanda is an oral head. You can open her lips a bit and there is an oral canal behind it. But like the whole doll, it's tiny. I will take a closer look later.

But seriously, do you want to risk ruining this beautiful face for oral sex?

Amanda with artificial lightning:

Amanda with natural lightning (cloudy sunlight) and cleaned eyeball:

Isn't this a lovely girl?

Verdict about the S10 head: It's an attractive and quite good head. Beautiful sculpt and well executed. Also good makup and looks really good in reality. Sits tight on the neck connector and has no gap like the head on the SI-172/H.

Not so good, but only minor issues: The silicone on the back of the head doesn't stick firmly to the core; on the connector area is an unintentional hole; and Sino-doll forgot one of four screws whick tighten the connector.

The only real 'problem' with the S10 head is that it's so tiny. It's comparable is size with the medium-sized heads for Doll Sweet's DS-145 line and won't look good on taller dolls than the SI-152/D. And it looks mature enough so hopefully not even the UK Border Force creeps will classify this doll as underage.

Overall I can highly recommend this head in combination with the SI-152/D body. The minor issues can be quickly fixed and do not reduce functionality.

Re: Unboxing Sino-doll SI-152 with A10 head aka ›Amanda‹

7) Silicone blend, Skin surface & Body makeup, and Skin tone.

The silicone blend is relatively soft, but not too soft or even jelly-like. The breasts are softer than the rest of the body and have a slight jiggle. They could be gel-filled or hollow, that's not clearly palpatable without making an incision and taking a look what is inside; probably inherited from Z-Onedoll, they feel a little bit baloony – but they do not look like baloons.

The breasts have a slight 'sag' which makes them look incredibly realistic:

Though, it's nice to fondle these breasts; the shape of the breasts is nice, and the pointy nipples are exquisite. However, if you are after the ultimate softness, Sino-doll does not beat Maidlee Doll's latest incarnations of Maid-Fong yet.

Here is my personal ranking for breast softness (only breast softness):

  • Tomax Busty Ai-chan (~2014) [breast sex toy, no full doll] – the ultimate reference for breast softness
  • Maidlee Doll Maid-Fong, mk. II (2016)
  • Maidlee Doll Maid-Fong, mk. I (2015)
  • Happy Doll with silicone gel breast implants (2017)
  • Softer TPE blends like Doll Forever, Piper Doll etc. with hollow breast design
  • Doll Sweet DS-163 etc. (2017)
  • Sino-doll SI-152/D (2019) and SI-172/H (2018); also very similar: the more recent Z-Onedoll builds from late 2017 & 2018
  • Doll Sweet DS-167 Evo (2018)
  • Doll Sweet DS-163 etc. (2016)
  • More firm TPE blends like Doll House 168 'classic' (Shangmei) without hollow breast design
  • Z-Onedoll ZO-160/B without gel implants (2016)
  • Doll Sweet pre-2015 blend; also very similar: older Japanese silicone dolls with build dates around 2014/2015 or earlier

Haptically, the closest to the real thing feels – imho – Busty Ai-chan, followed by Happy Doll's silicone gel breast implants.

The Sino-doll SI-152/D does not have extra soft thighs or an extra soft butt options, but the ultra-soft vagina option. Similar to the SI-172/H, the ultra-soft vagina feels totally amazing, it is not comparable with any other silicone doll vaginas I am aware of. In my opinion, the combination of a firmer body, soft breasts and an ultra-soft vagina makes the SI-152/D a better doll than most TPE dolls. But as always, YMMV.

And, by the way, if you want more extra soft areas across the body, you can order the extra soft thighs and extra soft butt options for the Sino-doll SI-152/D as for all other current Sino-dolls.

Clearly, the ultra soft vagina option is a killer feature. Especially if you are rather looking for a doll to have sex than for photography or companionship. The only downside of the SI-152/D's vagina is that she is a bit tight. Not as tight as some other silicone dolls, but I think tighter than the SI-172/H. If you are rather well equipped, you will need plenty of lube.

When looking at the breasts, some major differences with Z-Onedoll show up. The ZO-160/B from 2016 was poured in a rather firm silicone, with solid silicone breasts. More or less no jiggle, and a firmnes which makes a bra obsolete. A bit later, ZO introduced some kind of gel-filled breasts. This Sino-doll has an undeniable heritage to the later Z-Onedolls. Just better.

The softest doll breasts I know are (were) made by Maidlee Doll. Even a couple of years ago they were softer than any TPE blend I have ever touched, and Maidlee increased the softness even further in his more recent Maid-Fong builds. This had some drawbacks in regard to keeping the shape. Not unlike a human women's breast, Maid-Fong's breasts sometimes sagged a bit. For some this was too much realism. Sino-doll keeps the softness within a sane range. I don't think they will loose their shape anytime soon.

How does the silicone respond to compression?

Basically, very similar like human flesh. If the doll makes crunches, her belly gets some wrinkles. If she relaxes, the wrinkles go away.

Pretty nice.

And then there is the oil leakage issue. Many TPE dolls leak mineral oil, some of the softer silicone dolls also leak something, possibly silicone oil. Maidlee's most recent Maid-Fong leaks oil like crazy, and even Doll Sweet ladies leak some oil. This is not entirelydifferent with Sino-doll's SI-152/D: There is oil leakage, but it's quite moderate compared with a current TPE doll. So I wouldn't sit her naked onto an antique leather couch, and in regard to oil leakage, the SI-152/D is comparable to the limited oil leakage of certain firmer TPE blends.

It's as always: You tweak one thing and break another. The firm ZO-160/B from 2016 hardly leaks any oil, and she rarely requires powdering. And she is much less a dust magnet than any of the softer silicone dolls. I loved all of this, these characteristics are just good. But you can not keep them all when making the silicone blend softer than something like Shore 2 A (Dragon Skin FX‑ Pro, virtually no oil leakage and – imho – soft enough for a doll).

I haven't inspected the skin surface systematically yet, but from the first impression it looks good, way better than the ZO from 2016. Also noteworthy: there is a skin texture. It's visible on the pictures of the lady parts area and even on her face:

Last but not least, there is the body makeup.

Anyone got complaints how this looks?

Always remember, TPE body makeup can look nice too, but it is always semi-permanent and fades or rubs off after a while.
So far, I got no indications that Sino-doll's body makeup cracks up or fades.

If the body makeup survives the test of time, it's such an enhancement over TPE body makeup!
