Weekly summary 37/2019

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 37th week of 2019, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) New arrivals.

This week, five new heads were introduced:

• Climax Doll head ›Demir‹ (CLM no. 89) - silicone
• Doll Forever head ›Victoria‹ (D4E no. NN) - TPE
• Irontech Doll head ›Jessica‹ - TPE
• Sino-doll head ›Pao‹ (S24) - silicone
• Sino-doll head ›Linyin‹ (S30) - silicone

Also, five new body styles were released:

• New arrivals: Aibei Doll AB-158/C body style - TPE / ~158 cm / ~33 kg
• New arrivals: Climax Doll CLM-157/H body style - TPE / ~157 cm / ~45 kg
• New arrivals: HR Doll HR-162/K body style - TPE / height ~162 cm / weight ~42 kg
• New arrivals: Jarliet JA-155/A body style - TPE / height ~155 cm / weight ~28 kg
• New arrivals: Sino-doll SI-162/D body style - silicone / 162 cm / 34 kg

3) Factory photos and shipped dolls.

This week, we had two completed dolls.

• This Piper Doll Piper Fantasy PI-140 aka ›Ariel‹ travels to Virginia - TPE
• This WM Doll WM-163/C body style with no. 33 head travels to France - TPE

4) Brexit deadline.

The currently scheduled Brexit date is October 31st, 2019. After that date it is unclear if we will be able to provide customs clearance for UK customers. For dolls with a longer lead time – for example Doll Sweet's 'Evo' dolls with S-level makeup or Ildoll's dolls with H.R. (hyper realism) surface finishing – this deadline for smooth order processing has now passed. If you are located in the UK and want a doll delivered after October 31st, please consult with local vendors and double check the t&c for import fees clearance.

5) Chinese holiday schedule.

September 30th til October 3rd, 2019, are National Day holidays in China and most businesses are closed for four days.
